A day, remembered

The hands you held. The street you wandered. A little of the world around you, and everything you felt in it.

Behind the camera

Hello, I’m Aiko.

I’m a freelance wedding photographer based in Kyoto. I’m drawn to the part of a wedding day that can’t be planned: a hand on a shoulder, a laugh across the room, the moment you finally exhale.

My approach is gentle and observant. I’ll offer direction when you need it, then leave room for you to be yourselves. There’s no need to know what to do with your hands.

Kyoto is part of the story, too. We can make time for a garden path, the old streets, or a walk beside the river. Somewhere to be together before the next chapter begins.

I’d love to hear what you have in mind.

Let’s talk about your plans

Choose your beginning

A garden pause, an old street, or a little river air. Where would your day begin?

A couple pause on a mossy garden path under Japanese maple branches.

A little stillness.

Soft light, green surroundings, and time to take it all in. We’ll plan a gentle walk around your ceremony.

Make it your day

Room to breathe

An afternoon by the river.
